Dr. Daniel Oh grew up in California and received his bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of California, Irvine. He worked as a semiconductor circuit designer for five years and concurrently received his Master of Science in electrical engineering at the University of Southern California.
While he enjoyed his work as an engineer, Dr. Oh decided to follow his passion to become a health professional and make a positive impact in people’s lives. So, he switched gears and obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery at University of California, Los Angeles. He’s a recipient of the U.S. Army Health Professional Scholarship, which allowed him to serve military members as a captain and a general dentist. While in the army, Dr. Oh was able to utilize the vast amount of resources the army has to offer. Alongside with a focus on conservative dentistry using modern technology, Dr. Oh also strives to treat patients with the highest standard of care.
Dr. Oh starts his residency in endodontics at the University of Illinois, Chicago in the summer of 2018. He lives in the city of Chicago with his wife and son. In his free time, he enjoys playing racquetball, biking and exploring Chicagoland with his family.
